Responsibilities:

The worker performs highly advanced computer systems analysis and administration work for the Office of the Attorney General Child Support Division. Provides operational enhancements, maintenance and support for a suite of software products, including, but not limited to: AIX/Unix/Windows based systems that support the TXCSES 2.0 infrastructure applications; IBM HTTP Server, IBM Web Content Manager, IBM WebSphere Portal Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server, Adobe LiveCycle, Apache Ant, EMC Documentum WAS and Content File Store. Provides secondary support for other suites of products, such as Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Fault Tolerant Agent, WebSphere Message Queue (MQ), WebSphere Process Server, and GoAnyWhere tool. Plans, trains, assigns, or mentors the work of others

8 Experience in overseeing and performing daily system operations, monitoring and maintenance, verifying the integrity and availability of software, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying uptime and availability; performs regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions; conducts regular system audits to ensure accuracy of the various environments and applications; conducts regular account administration; determines environment build out specifications; provides configuration requirements for hardware and software, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements; installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software; develops and maintains reports, documentation for installation and configuration procedures; contributes to and maintains system standards
