Location: Minneapolis
Experience 8+Position DescriptionSenior Linux Administrator with excellent hands on experience to support the Information Technology Operations Team for a Healthcare customer. The primary duty of the position is Linux Administration, which includes the full life-cycle (installation, configuration, hardening, patching, tuning, upgrading and archiving).Your future duties and responsibilities• Maintains all servers for the big data platform. This include Physical servers and Virtual Machines.• Builds servers from scratch, including OS installation, setup LDAP, setup security, etc.• Responsible for installing new software on the platforms and keep up with monthly patching.• Write ansible scripts to automate recurring manual steps. Also able to do emergency production support during non-business hours in case of critical issues.• Must to have:o Hands on experience building physical serverso Strong skills in RHEL 6 & 7 enterprise editiono Good understanding of Ansible scriptso LDAP Server, Client setup & Troubleshooting experience in RHEL 7o Red hat Satellite 5 & 6 versions and troubleshootingo Red hat Cluster HA & Load balancingo Rstudio, R, Python packages experience in RHEL 7o RHEL 7 OS Patching experienceo Dell IDRAC & CISCO USC Experienceo Automation Ansible Playbook with roles experienceo Experience using Puppet moduleso Extensively RHEL OS Build & installation with Kick Start fileo Experience using VMWare Vcenter & vSphere cliento Experience in SFTP, MySQL, DNS, Active Directory & SSH Tunnelingo Familiar with Kerberos Authenticationo Strong in shell scriptingo High availability cluster setup & Troubleshootingo Agile Methodology, working in sprints experienceo Familiar with “Service now“ toolo Production support experienceo Hadoop Big Data Experienceo High level understanding of Kafka & Attunity• Experience w/ Agile Methodologies
