Description:Requesting a Project Manager to support projects for theDepartment of Natural Resources (DNR) and Department of EnvironmentalQuality (DEQ).This Project Manager must have extensive Agile/Scrum Master Experience.IN PERSON ONLY INTERVIEWS.The required position is for a project manager to lead multiple InformationTechnology (IT) projects in support of the Department of EnvironmentalQuality (DEQ) and Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Potential projects include DNR Land Ownership Tracking System (LOTS), DNRVegetative Management System, and DEQ Water Track to Safe Drinking WaterInformation System (SDWIS).The project manager will be assigned projects in the portfolio (as notedabove or other projects) as prioritized by the State.As a member of the Program Management Office (PMO), the project manager willfollow the State's SUITE methodology (and required deliverables), andutilize the State's project management tools, to perform project planningthrough project execution. Plans and coordinates work teams. Provides management and technical supportto project team members. Handles complex projects. Designs and implementsproject plans. Generally manages a group of applications system analysts orinfrastructure specialists. Relies on experience and judgment to plan andaccomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager.The Project Manager will work under the direction of DTMB Agency Services,and with partner agencies, IT vendors, and DTMB cross matrix teams tounderstand project requirements and effectively manage the project. Thisincludes, but is not limited to:* Provide project management services to support the initiation,planning and implementation of the technology deliverables for the project.This includes recommendations on scope, resources and cost, as well as thebest course of action/approach to attain the project objectives. * Provide project management for project activities to ensurethat the project is completed on time, within budget and within scope. Thisincludes, but is not limited to project planning, scheduling, tracking,issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting.* Follow the State Unified Information Technology Environment(SUITE) Project Management Methodology (PMM) and System EngineeringMethodology (SEM) and required deliverables.* Utilize the State's Project Portfolio Management (PPM) toolper the required Program Management Office (PMO) processes.Questions: Question: Absences greater than two weeks MUST be approved by CAImanagement in advance, and contact information must be provided to CAI sothat the resource can be reached during his or her absence.The Client has the right to dismiss the resource if he or she does notreturn to work by the agreed upon date.
