Complete Description
Gather and understand business rules and functional and technical requirements, analyze data, develop and deploy complex scheduled and ad hoc reports delivering business intelligence, and create project documentation for District agency related projects.
MAJOR DUTIES
Interfaces independently with high level stakeholders via meetings, emails, and phone calls to manage data projects, gather and document requirements; and to gather sample data throughout all phases of the project to ensure data quality.
Works with District agency resources to analyze, compile, verify, and query data across multiple operating systems
Creates metadata, network diagrams and data dictionaries as required.
Evaluates program-specific data sets to identify duplicative data elements and to design a normalized data structure for a unified system for DDOE programs.
Designs and implements reports using SQL as well as a variety of reporting and business intelligence tools.
Coordinates all activities with the project manager throughout the full software development life cycle (SDLC), to include design, development, and testing.
Works with minimal oversight as a technical lead on data-driven reporting and applications development projects.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
