Security engineering experience required. Understanding of Palo Alto firewallsecurity and data security. Knowledge of Cisco Firepower threatprotection and IDS/IPD. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in high demand environment and complete work independently. Ability to work in a flexible work environment on a global team. Problem-solving skills – this role requires much problem-solving, since security engineers must be able to apply their technical expertise across various client environments and solve any obstacles that arise. Must be focused attention to detail – as with most other jobs that involve working with technology, the engineer must be meticulous and detail oriented, examining every aspect of the system to guarantee security and spot bugs or anomalous activity while they’re still minor. The engineer will need good time management – it’s common to multitask, while debugging problems reported by customers and coordinating with other team members.-
