Job Description:The vision of the Record to Report (“R2R”) Finance Transformation team at LinkedIn is to enable world-class, accurate, scalable capabilities and processes to support?finance operations, business?growth strategies, and compliance for various finance functions within the R2R cycle. The team is responsible for defining the transformation strategy and business architecture that helps the finance teams achieve the future state and improve in terms of efficiency, scalability, accuracy, and compliance. As a Transformation Assessment Business Architect, he/she will champion formulating transformation strategy in conjunction with Business Process Assessments and improvements that advances LinkedIn to be a world-class scalable organization.

Basic Qualification –6+ years of experience with finance transformation or strategy & Assessment, leading business transformation programs (preferably focused on Finance R2R) Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or IT

Responsibility –Collaborate with Finance leadership, Global Process Owners, cross functional teams and IT to define and execute overall strategy and architecture that will transform LinkedIn R2R Finance into a world class, industry leading organization. Leverage best practices, industry standards, methodologies and frameworks to define and execute on the transformation vision and strategy. Responsible for assessing existing state process flows and capabilities, defining a heatmap and Capability Maturity model, identifying capabilities needed and define R2R future state, prioritizing based on ROI along with a roadmap to get to the future state. Utilize Lean/six-sigma methodologies such as time and defect study, root cause analysis, etc. to lead the assessment process and process improvement initiatives Incorporate emerging and innovative technologies (digitization, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cognitive automation, etc.) into the overall transformation strategy. Focus on end-to-end business capability enablement through building partnerships and collaboration with business stakeholders, IT/Engineering team and other cross-functional partners. Define reporting & analytics strategy & KPI to measure and monitor business value addition and adoption of completed projects as well as enable Finance to be a key business partner by providing relevant insights. Closely work with transformation leads and change management leads to ensure defined business capabilities are enabled and adopted by the stakeholders.

Preferred Qualification – Proven expertise in transformation strategy and architecture skills - Benchmarking assessment, target state definition and roadmaps, six sigma analysis and methodology, Heatmap and capability maturity measurement, and project scoping Expertise on various Finance processes and operations (especially R2R flow) at high-tech/SaaS Company as well as general understanding of various accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, etc.) and regulations (SOX, GDPR, etc.) Six Sigma certification is highly desirable (minimum Green belt) Oracle EBS R12 experience is highly desirableExperience in incorporating emerging technologies (RPA, AI/ML, etc.) and industry trends into overall transformation strategy. Business/Finance consulting experience in top-notch consulting companies is preferableSelf-starter, Detail-oriented, proven learner and problem solver Excellent business communications and presentation skills, interpersonal and partnership skills at all levels of the organization, including working with leaders and executivesSelf-motivated team player with the ability to simultaneously drive numerous projects, as well as identify, resolve and prioritize differing business issues Versatile and driven team player with the ability to build relationships with coworkers and other cross-functional partners.? Master’s Degree Preferred CMMI certification preferred Experience with Process mapping & utilizing Process/Quality management tools General understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, and Reporting tools & systems Experience with Change Management activities associated with process improvements such as engaging leadership and stakeholders to obtain support and buy-in for changes
