The District is upgrading the PeopleSoft HCM enterprise application from version 9.0 to *** The current PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 system is a highly customized version configured for the U.S. Federal market that includes Federal HR PAR Processing and Payroll for North America. The system contains multi-company and multi-business unit tenants that use a hybrid configuration of both commercial and U.S. Federal PeopleSoft HCM products. The objective of the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade project is to:
Migrate the District to the most current and supported version of the PeopleSoft HCM application
Reduce dependence on customizations.
Increase functionality though new modules.
Provide all stakeholders with a comprehensive and robust HCM system.
Upgrade the physical infrastructure and supporting network to fully support application and operational requirements.

The current PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 hardware/infrastructure includes Oracle 11g database configured with RAC high-availability on the Oracle Linux version 6, operating system, installed on Dell 720 servers. PeopleSoft web, application and batch servers run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Virtual Machines.
Requirement Description:
The District has a need to augment business staff resources by supplementing each of the District’s business areas during the upgrade project to assist in table set up, business choices, testing, user readiness, and documentation. The deliverables for the Functional SME will consist of, but are not limited to:
Transfer knowledge to District staff regarding the analysis, test case creation, testing and documentation used for all business area efforts completed.
Upgrade Initiation and Planning: Participate in developing the upgrade functional roadmap.
Scope Definition: Working with project stakeholders, participate in developing the functional scope definition document.
Requirements Document: Participate in the development of the upgrade functional and technical requirements document.
Interface / Analytical Tools: Gather and document requirements for all interfaces and/or analytical tools.
