Also, the core job function is to run batch processing of data records. Therefore, if we present a MDM Developer and he does not know nor has never run batch processes of data records, that is a big red flag. As a Developer you will have to know how to do the customizations using workbench, understand how the data needs to flow, understand how to merge and collapse records; PME is the engine inside of IBM MDM and a developer would need to be proficient on this engine in order to do the work. So in closing this is all Development work with an understanding of architecture in order to properly make the MDM function correctly.
