BigFix Administrator responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring and support of computing operations.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be patch management, script creation, client imaging, inventory/reporting, and application deployments through BigFix.
The candidate will also be required to deploy and implement enhancements that will improve the reliability, maintainability, and performance of the systems.
This role will be both internal and client facing with remote and onsite support as many sites have distribution points.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply security updates and patches using BigFix to *** endpoints on a monthly basis.
- Create and test custom software packages per customer request.
- Develop PowerShell scripts to scan for current Internet Explorer, Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat versions.
- Ensure correct installation, configuration, use and maintenance of the Microsoft SCCM Platform.
- Understand the configuration and management of Distribution Points and creating packages to test in lower environments.
- Tier III / High-Level Support for Ops Team on a 24/7 basis.
- Design / Develop Operational Processes to Maintain Enterprise-Level (10K+ End-Points) Desktops in Active Directory.
- Manage deployment of all patches, critical updates and service packs on a timely basis according to Information Security policy. Includes Servers and EndPoints.
