Description:
- Work with a highly skilled software development team, bringing your skills and innovations to develop innovative solutions to security problems
- Develop automated solutions, demonstrating measurable gains in business efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop solutions using Rest APIs on OpenStack, AWS, OpenShift, and Kubernetes
- Learn quickly on the job as FAST tackles security solutions for IaaS platforms that may be new to you and others on the team
- Bring technical solutions to the lead architects or technical lead, solicit feedback on solutions recommended, new product ideas with the team through design review, pair programming, code review and tech talk
- Document your solutions clearly and thoroughly and use that to train others on the team, including production support personnel
- Participate in Agile/Scrum teams, using sprints to deliver software solutions in an iterative manner
Skills
- Extensive experience with Python, and working knowledge of JAVA, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell is a plus
- Knowledge of Application/IaaS Platform/Cloud security best practices and implementation
- Experience with automation/configuration management using OpenStack SDK and OpenShift SDK
- Extensive experience with Docker, Containers and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS SQS, Kinesis, DynamoDB,
- Experience with serverless technology such as OpenWhisk, Lambda
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and the best practices for deploying applications to those stacks and strong background in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
- Development / build tools: Git, Jenkins
- Experience with micro-services application design
- Experience with DevOps development environment, CI/CD
- Experience in API Gateways, REST based services (server and client side)
- Experience with open source technologies
- Ability to learn quickly on the job when introduced to new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Any Certification in a cloud technology or generalist such as: CCSK, AWS Architect, or Azure cloud is added plus.
