Consulting with key IBM team members and customers to design and implement high-end IBM Cloud solutions for complex customer environments, and providing billable services to our customers in a number of areas including: architecture, use cases, installation, configuration, upgrades, assessments, hardware/software deployments, integrations and customization's, sizing for enterprise applications, troubleshooting customer environments, and reviewing/recommending systems designs and implementations. Key IBM Solutions and products include: VRA/VRO, OpenStack, OpenShift, Terraform, Puppet, MS Azure, IBM Cloud, SkytapCandidate will initially be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in a subset of the cloud stack, and growing towards providing end-to-end delivery of complex customer engagements to include: consulting to IBM and Customer stake holders from practitioners to C-level execs, creation of design and planning documents, installation, delivery, and all tasks and deliverables as defined in our Statement of Work (SOW). * Experience with VMWare Cloud Technologies and able to integrate them into various cloud platforms * IBM Cloud experience to include cloud concepts, designs, use cases, and solution knowledge* Understanding of cloud management concepts (virtualization, provisioning, orchestration, patterns, service catalog, cost accounting)* Experience in VMware, Cloud, Windows/Linux, Containers etc..* Solid understanding of VMware and its implementation in an enterprise environment* Ability to perform UI design and customization, write code (i.e. Java), and perform scripting of tasks * Familiarity with database technologies and methodologies * Familiarity with OpenStack, Open Shift, Terraform * Familiarity with IT Service Management / ITIL principles * Ability to convert business requirements into cloud solutions and designs based on IBM products* Ability to document activities into deployment summaries and reusable intellectual capital Required Soft Skills
