Job Description:
Overview:
- Self-driven engineer responsible for leading, participating in or supporting the product development activities such as prototyping/testing, pilot builds, verification & validation testing, risk assessment and production tooling validation.
- Generate detailed fabrication drawings, appropriate product requirements and technical file documents and lead design reviews.
- Responsible for the design and development of mechanical components, systems, and products using PTC Creo.
- Generate detailed fabrication drawings with familiarity of GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Works with cross-functional teams including EE, SW, QA, and Mfg.
- Applies intermediate level principles of engineering analysis to blend technical knowledge and manufacturing practices in providing solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Ensures regulatory / statutory / legislative compliance for all project work.
Primary Skills:
- BS Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and 7+ years of directly related experience who can work with minimal to no oversight.
Secondary Skills:
- Proficiency with 3-D CAD (PTC Creo )
- Ability to take responsibility for multiple concurrent design activities.
- Must possess fundamental, theoretical and applied knowledge related to general mechanical and fluidics engineering.
