Locations: Bethlehem, PA & Folsom, CAJob Description:The Cloud Migration Project Manager has the overall responsibility of coordinating our cross-functional technical team in the migration of our product applications to Microsoft Azure and AWS. He/she works closely with Microsoft and AWS consultants, cloud solution architects, cloud operations engineers and softwareengineers to understand the application technical requirements and Cloud Ops strategic goals and to translate the actions required to build our cloud infrastructure into realistic and actionable project plans. The Cloud Migration Project Manager will understand the adoption challenges in migrating on premise or CoLo infrastructure andapplication portfolios and will be able to bridge the gaps during the management of project deliverables.The ideal candidate will have an established background in traditional hosted, or outsourced, transition projects for n-tier single-tenant and multi-tenant enterprise architectures. He/she will have experience using project management tools (e.g., SmartSheet, Jira, Office365 Planner, MS Visio), templates and processes to manage the delivery of cloud migration program/projects and will enable project transparency and clarity at all levels of our engineering organization, driving delivery of project goals for a quality, on time and in budget project completion.QualificationsWork Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:10+ years of experience in IT, Software Engineering and/or DevOps5+ year of proven delivery managing increasingly complex projects5+ years of recent experience in Cloud and IT transition, transformation, and migration management,preferably with mass migrations technologyExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsExcellent knowledge of MS Office toolsAbility to work effectively in a distributed team environmentAbility to work effectively with all levels of management and staffProject Management certification preferredPreferred Technical skills:Experience with public cloud migration from on-premise data centers to Microsoft Azure or AWSExperience conducting application assessments with application ownersKnowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS (virtual machines, virtual networks, security groups, express route) & MS Azure PaaS (Azure files, Azure SQL, Azure backup)Experience with infrastructure management on-premise (storage, compute, network etc.) with VMWare& bare-metalExperience with Agile scrum methodologyExperience with infrastructure service operations on-premise & cloudLarge scale data center migration projects for large enterprises
