Position:Data Engineer
Location:Rhode Island
3-5 years of professional IT experience including the following:• Hands-on experience with “big data” platforms including Hadoop (preferably Hortonworks with Isilon commodity hardware) and Spark as well as experience with traditional RDBMS (eg, Teradata, Oracle).• Proficiency in “big data” technologies including MapReduce, Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Hbase, Pig, NoSQL databases, etc.
Skills (in order of priority)
Platforms: Hadoop, Spark,Oracle
Languages: Python, Hive, Shell Scripting, SQL,
Proficient in Map-Reduce, Spark, Jenkins, Airflow
Familiarity with building data pipelines, data modeling concepts
Experience operating in Azure, GCP or AWS clouds
