Role: Senior Programmer/Developer - Teradata Lead Work Location: Mishwaka – Indiana
JOB DESCRIPTION • The individual will be responsible for high end solution design, database design and development (logical/physical) • Specify, demonstrate and scope Teradata solutions that deliver business value to the client • Looking for a data warehousing professional with 7+ years of expertise in Teradata and Unix • Has worked as an individual contributor, ready to take up complex projects independently • Working experience on Development, enhancements and Maintenance of project is preferred • Should have strong knowledge on the Teradata Architecture and Utilities (BTEQ, MLOAD, TPT) • Well versed with UNIX shell scripting • Good knowledge in Performance tuning – Should have worked on optimization and performance tuning • Health care domain experience would be an added advantage • Ready to work in an agile environment • Good to have OBIEE or Tableau experience • Should have worked on ETL/ELT tools like Talend, Informatica, data stage etc • Having good communication skills to be able to comfortably handle a client facing role • Experience in scheduling tool TWS is a plus
