Role : Simulia Engineer/Openstack Consultant
Location : Washington DC
Duration : Contract/ Full Time
Experience : 8+ Years
Mandatory : We need someone with CloudStack experience preferably; if not CloudStack then certainly Openstack experience
Job Description/Requirements:
- Provide an exceptional on site customer experience for our clients.
- Daily management and administration of Linux & Windows hosted VM’s
- Administration of KVM, XenServer & VMWare ESX Hypervisors, along with Apache CloudStack management
- Intermediate and advanced support for web & database servers, applications, and end-users
- Support and administration of backup & disaster recovery solutions
- Assist in the maintenance of customer datacenter operations as needed
- Shared responsibility of after-hours on-call duties as assigned
- Support and administration of Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop server farm
Required/Mandatory Skills:
- Ability to use critical thinking and apply to problem solving skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills are a must
- Advanced knowledge of Apache Cloudstack / CloudPlatform
- Intermediate to strong competency with SMTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and FTP
- Intermediate to strong skills with Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP
