Title: Salesforce Developer

MDOT Office of Transportation Technology Services (OTTS) needs a Senior SalesForce Developer withhigh level hands-on experience in software development using Salesforce Lightning Framework,VisualForce, APEX code, Java EE, Java Script, .NET, HTML 5, CSS.
The Senior Salesforce developer is expected to work with MDOT ISO OTTS Enterprise Software Services/ Cloud Services Team and business staff to perform the following responsibilities:
· Strategize and plan Salesforce application development.
· Perform gap analysis of the current Salesforce environment and recommend Salesforce andForce.comdesigns and configurations to meet current and future needs.
· Propose solutions and methods for migrating existing non-Salesforce legacy systems to Salesforce.
· Integrate Salesforce with the agency's web presence and applications
· Creating seamless external and internal experiences and processes.
· Remain abreast of Salesforce enhancements and developments that are relevant to MDOT'sSalesforce environment and business objectives.
· Design, Develop, Implement, Administer & Maintain new SalesForce applications based on Lightingframework.
· Document solution designs based on functional and technical requirements.
· Design and implement customer communities and external-facing applications.
· Develop and maintain Lightning Framework, VisualForce, APEX code,Force.compages andintegration to other third-party solutions.
· Design data sharing and reporting across applications and multiple data sources.
· Work with Salesforce technical employees on complex designs or issues encountered.
Preferred Experience:
· At least five (5) years of software development experience
· Expert hands-on software development experience using Salesforce Lightning Framework,VisualForce, APEX code, Java EE, Java Script, .NET, HTML 5, CSS
· Prior experience designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive Salesforce securitymanagement model
· Prior experience designing and creating advanced customized reports using datasets fromnumerous Salesforce instances and data sources, configuring complex validations and processflows, Identifying and analyzing third party applications to enhance the system's functionality.
