The VDI Systems Integration Specialist Advisor is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of relying on their innovation, creativity, technical prowess and leadership skills to deliver robust, efficient and stable solutions to their clients. The Advisor is a resource who has demonstrable experience supporting and managing large enterprise environments, marrying complex business requirements to progressive design solutions, and overseeing the transition to production.Applicants should be highly-motivated, technology driven, possess strong communications skills, can develop strong cross-group collaboration and is willing to take on the challenge of dealing with ambiguity. Candidate should also have a broad understanding of both server and desktop / application virtualization.Role Responsibilities-Expert knowledge of and experience with enterprise scale technologies such as Windows technologies including Citrix, Server platforms, Active Directory, IIS, Windows Clustering, VMware Virtualization and BMC monitoring.
Required Skills- Expert knowledge of and experience with Citrix XenApp technologies and the following:- XenApp (6.x, 7.x)- PVS- Web Interface- GPO management- Windows 2008, *** VMWare ESX- Powershell/VBScript knowledge would be advantageous- Experience in designing XenApp farms using the latest technologies would be an advantage (XenApp 7.6,Windows *** Provide Configuration Management leadership across the enterprise for all supported technology platforms- Practical knowledge and a large experience of infrastructure services delivery techniques- Familiarity with Healthcare Enterprise Architecture concepts and best practices- Excellent system problem diagnoses skills on both hardware and software
PreferredUndergraduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience
