The Database Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the enterprise SQL databases. The primary role of this individual is to participate within the Database Administrator Team providing input regarding the architecture, design, implementation, and monitoring of SQL databases. The ideal candidate will have experience on Microsoft SQL technologies such as: SQL engines, clustering and data replication technologies including Always-On, SSRS, SSIS, maintenance and proactive monitoring, and industry best practice and security standards for databases. The candidate will be able to accommodate widely varying work hours.
REQUIRED – Candidates should be from large enterprise environments
· Hands-on experience in Database Administration field for SQL Server *** in both physical and virtual environments.
· Hands on experience with Backups, Restores, DMV’s, DBCC commands, SQL Profiler, PerfMon, Extended Events and Query store.
